Before we headed back to London from Margate, we stopped in Lewes for Bonfire Night. In Great Britain, Bonfire Night is associated with the tradition of celebrating the failure of Guy Fawkes' trial to blow up the parliament on 5 November. Everywhere in England there are bonfires and fireworks, but in Lewes they go way further then that. The people dress up and march past with a lot of fire and bombs.
